One of our project objectives is to make students aware of the Maths that surrounds us and can be seen in our Historical and Cultural Heritage. That is actually the topic of our mobility to Montesarchio, Italy. For this reason, it was decided to carry out a Maths photo contest in the five participating schools. In order to get the whole educational community involved, the photos have been uploaded to Instagram with the hashtag #erasmusmathseverywhere and each school has chosen the six most popular ones. In addition, the teachers involved in the project have chosen
some photos that we thought should also be finalists because of their quality, originality, mathematical content and explanation attached. Our participating students have uploaded their photos, as well as their explanation, to the eTwinning “Maths in the streets” project (https://
twinspace.etwinning.net/99007/pages/page/763101). All the finalist photos will be exhibited in the meeting in Montesarchio and the absolute winner will be chosen there.
